Atheists by definition are declaring that they "know" "there is no God!"

There are many paths to knowledge. For me that path was through mathematics with an emphasis on chaos mathmatics. The other key insite is from Einstein where he proved our universe is organized around cause-and-effect and that any notion that puts effect before it's cause is wrong. Any event which happens because God willed it is just an effect without a cause (from the point of view of our physics).

I don't know that there aren't some other intelligent beings in the universe, maybe vastly smarter than we, but none, no matter how smart or powerful could cause an effect to happen without a cause (which is the definition of a miracle).

And it is true that I dismiss out of hand claims such as "my sisters kid unexpectedly recovered from measles so that proves God exists" since they have nothing to do with the underlying principles of our universe.
