"How is wealth being redistributed and what political agenda are you talking about??"

You have never heard of carbon trading?

Carbon trading is “A con man’s dream”
redd-monitor.org

How about Carbon Taxes that all the extreme leftwing environmentalists and politicians either have or want to implement?

What will they do with the money? Give it to their friends? Na, they would never do that; would they?

NASA 1999 – 2001, Same Data, Different Interpretation - Manipulation

From the above 1999 article:

So Hansen et al made the following statements in the above 1999 publication:

absence of clear climate change in the United States”“the warming hardly exceeds year-to-year variability”“in the US the warmest decade was the 1930s

The warmest year in the US was 1934.

In 2001 they reprocessed the historical data in order to produce more warming. The following figure is from Hansen et al 2001 [http://pubs.giss.nasa.gov/docs/2001/2001_Hansen_etal.pdf]:

Superimposing Hansen 2001 (red / blue) onto Hansen 1999 (black), and highlighting some of the significant changes (the 1980s and 1990s temperatures have been increased and the 1930s decreased)::

What happened?

1934 suddenly got colder in 2001 1998 got warmer (as did all of the 1990s)Colder years in the1880s – 1890s were warmed to reduce the annual variationManipulation of data became the norm at NASA under Hansen’s reign in order to increase the warming

“Fig. 6. Global mean surface air temperature change estimated from meteorological station records.”

Comparing Hansen 2007 with Hansen 1987 and Hansen 1981:

There is a progressive reduction in the 1965 dip in the revised historical data over the decades.

Two simple questions.

No dodging behind claims about 'all the world's scientists.' No 'why don't you publish in peer-reviewed journals'. No holding your hands in front of your eyes. Just a simple question you should be able to answer.

Re. NASA GISS, run by James Hanson, a man who you surely accept as a scientific authority:

1) According to GISS records, was the global mean temperature higher in the decade of the 1950's (red line) or in the decade of the 1960's (blue line)?

2) Is that what GISS said in 1980?
