So, just between you and me, are you under water on that position?

BTW, I don't think your statement that most Iomega longs believed the Zip would replace the floppy by now is true. I know there were some who thought it could be done in this short a time, but there were many more who projected a longer time frame. Many expressed the opinion that it would take until the end of the century, or even longer.

And there are several people on this very thread who don't believe that Zip has to replace the floppy for Iomega to continue to grow. I'm one of them. You say that the promised land of high profits is yet to come for Iomega. I say that the quarterly reports don't support your position. Iomega is making a lot of money, with growth that can only be considered as respectable by any standard.

Why, just last fall people were saying that the company was going to run into trouble by spring, because of negative cash flow. They went positive a couple of quarters before anyone expected them to, and have remained so ever since, even after buying a new manufacturing facility, and increasing R&D expenditures.

As you said yourself, disagreeing about the future is one thing. But how can you say that Iomega's growth, both in terms of revenue and earnings, has not been outstanding?

Holy shit! a real live short, and at least from my perspective, you seem little more reliable than Rocky, so I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you are actually short--so what price are you in at and don't tell me you're in at 33 or you loose some credibility points. . .
