Arrhenius' Theory of Global Warming has been confirmed. It's settled. It's accepted science. The numerical value for a doubling of CO2 won't be settled until we equilibrate to CO2 levels of 560 PPM. We're at 400 now, up from 280 at the start of the industrial age. Observing the effects of the temperature change will answer lots of known unknowns, like, "What happens to our weather when the arctic is ice-free in the summer?" Also unknown unknowns. That happens when you are observing a one-time only experiment from inside the test tube.
