Mark,

AWRD, SYSF, and PTEC inching lower by the day !!!!!
Gotta be closer to bottom than we were a month ago, but where is bottom for these guys ???

I think you know that I do not have much hope for SYSF but AWRD is now down to a PE of 14.47 and PTEC down to 14.94. Both companies have a good deal of cash. About 35% of the value of AWRD at current levels is CASH. About the same for PTEC. I would think that they are well oversold but might get a bit more so with tax selling during the year end.

I heard from Phoenix today about the "Asian" situation. I asked, "The "asian crisis" seems to be spooking many investors. Could your state generally if the company has any major exposure in this area and does it foresee any impact in earnings from this disruption of various business plans.
The company response was, " Little direct exposure. Indirectly, from the impact on our customers, i.e. lower demand for PCs means lower royalties.

Accordingly I would look for the impact to effect the PC box makers before it filters down to the BIOS level.

The best,

Marc
