Read Replies (1) | Respond to of 103300 I completely agree with you across the board. Leftists undoubtedly hate the team name "Patriots" and trying to smear the team with these ridiculous accusations. Beyond that, I've never heard of a single White person pi$$ing and moaning about the team nicknames or mascots of the Boston Celtics, the Minnesota Vikings, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the USC Trojans or the dozens of other colleges and schools that have nicknames and mascots uniquely related to Whites [1]. If the government becomes involved and bans sports franchises from using Native American nicknames and mascots, we would immediately see the leftists and the Democratic Party spearheading two new national lawsuits. In one, they would claim discrimination, racism and bigotry because the country abounds with teams that have White nicknames and mascots, but none with Native American team nicknames and mascots. In the second lawsuit, they would sue for financial compensation on behalf of Native Americans that resulted from lost revenue after the ban of Native American team nicknames and mascots. Leftists and their lawyers would be fighting tooth and nail in court to bring back the nicknames and mascots of the Washington Redskins, the Florida State Seminoles and the Atlanta Braves and restore their honor, presence and revenue streams! --- Partial list of additional White nicknames and mascots: 1. en.wikipedia.org Alfred University Saxons Alma College Scots Bethany Swedes Carlow University Celtics Cleveland State University Vikings Compton High School Tartars Edinboro University of Pennsylvania Fighting Scots Fighting Whites, an intramural team at the University of Northern Colorado Idaho Vandals (indigenous to Central Europe) Hope College Flying Dutchmen Iona Gaels Louisiana–Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Luther College Norse a/k/a Norsemen Macalester College Fighting Scots Maryville College Fighting Scots NJIT Highlanders Northern Kentucky Norse Portland State University Vikings Queen's Golden Gaels Radford Highlanders Saint Mary's College of California Gaels Susquehanna University Crusaders Union College Dutchmen University of Pennsylvania Quakers Verona Hillbillies (High School in Verona, NJ) West Virginia Mountaineers Whitman Missionaries (refers to founding of the area by White missionaries sent to minister to local native peoples) College of Wooster Fighting Scots Mount St. Mary's University Athenians (Greek) Albion College Britons (British) Carlow University Celts (Irish) George Washing University Colonials (Americans) Robert Morris University Colonials (Americans) Southampton College Colonials (Americans) Western Connecticut State Colonials (Americans) Hamilton College Continentals (Americans) Edinboro College Fighting Scots (Scots) Gordon College Fighting Scots (Scots) Macalester College Fighting Scots (Scots) McHenry County College Fighting Scots (Scots) Monmouth College Fighting Scots (Scots) Ohio Valley Fighting Scots (Scots) Wooster Fighting Scots (Scots) Iona University Gaels (Irish) Saint Mary's College Gaels (Irish) Queen's University Gaels (Irish) MacMurry College Highlanders (Scots) McLennan Community College Highlanders (Scots) New Jersey Institute of Technology Highlanders (Scots) Radford College (Scots) University of California Riverside (Scots) Earlham Quakers (Quakers) Guilford Quakers (Quakers) Penn Quakers (Quakers) Alfred University Saxons (Germans/English/French) Alma University Scots (Scots) Covenant College Scots (Scots) Edinboro College Scots (Scots) Lyon College Scots (Scots) Macalester Scots (Scots) Maryville College Scots (Scots)
