Yes, German greens have a lot of political power. As a result, German utilities buy wood pellets from the US and from Brazil. And after the Brazilian forests are cut and chipped and shipped to Europe, they plant soybeans and sell the soy oil as renewable fuel.

You may also know, who funds that 'migration': The private citizens, who pay the highest electricity prices in Europe to subsidize much lower power costs for the power hungry industry.
