"TED, I think general interest in Silicon Investor has ebbed considerably"

or those people that were not pleased have curtailed posting or left, leaving less to complain. It seems speed was the big bug a boo surrounded by "enhancements" that were not, in the face of slower speeds. I have to admit it was never a problem for me, but I applaud the effort to bring shortcomings to a head.

Censorship sucks!

I see this as a thread that discusses problems that SI has that they wont deal with or discuss openly. that fervor is quiet for now, but rest assured will be rekindled on the next misstep. Should TED be allowed back ? well thats up to the monitor, as it should be. Personally I think so. everyone needs a critic to remind them they aren't God.

Hey Ted, Have a nice day if you haven't already.

I don't know about the rest of the SI boards, but the posts on the boards I visit have dwindled significantly. I can drop in every week or two and get caught up in a short time. It doesn't make sense for me to log in every day just to spend a few minutes here. When Yahoo provided the market data for SI, I did a lot of due diligence through the site. The current "Markets" page is a hit or miss catastrophe. I've stopped using it altogether. That doesn't leave SI much that it can offer me. I remember when AOL, Prodigy, and Raging Bull were on top. It doesn't last for any of the message boards. Dmitry's arrogance and ego have certainly hastened SI's decline, but it was only a matter of time anyway.
