chk ur email: re taxes . etc. think long term now. rember i had u re-calulate intel prices for next year when u were buying leaps.

point is that we all were very optimistic when we things were good
and now we may be too pesimistic. remember now the tax loss selling in intel will make things worse and mutual funds will buy back in less then 30days after u sell.

anyway, chk the mail. there is also a thread on taxes. some good points are discussed there.

Anant and thread <<I have a gut feel that the INTC may go further down to around $ 63.00.IMHP. The basis for this is that the lowest INTC went down before the split was around $ 126.00.>>

It is interesting that the current pe and the lowest earning estimates in Zack's concur your prediction (18*3.50=63). Nevertheless, even if it goes that low, it will make a come back for the long term investors. Pick yourself a company from any sector and compare the internal fundemantals against intel and cheer up.

Come on thread!.. This is not a screw driver shop.. At the end of 1998 things will be different.
