Yes, I agree. In terms of our ability to reason, perceive, measure, imagine, and understand, that's the only answer that makes sense. "Something", whatever it is called, has always existed in some form, so that something indeed exists without a beginning (or an end).

My goto answer for questions of this sort is:

There is only one way for there to be nothing, and probably an infinite number of ways for there to be something. The odd's are there is something.
