Serous countries demand personal responsibilities from its citizens as they expect them to behave responsibly in and outside their countries. Countries that are not serious, reflect the personal traits of their citizens. Give you an example: A Brazilian drug trafficker was executed in Indonesia a week ago. Brazilian public opinion and the government were telling how callous the Indonesian were not pardoned him. Brazil wanted him extradited to serve jail term there!!! I was shaking my head in disbelief! I thought to myself this guy was dead once he was caught. He was trafficking drugs for the past 25 years, he confessed in an interview, he had not worked a single day . He started at 23 was caught in 2005. Executed by fire squad at 53 years of age. They should asked his family to pay for the bullet! Now you got yourself in harm’s way, you are reckless and then people go looking for you to save your ass?
