The way we got him the second time was by looking past his skin color and choosing him based on his record. "Most people today would acknowledge" that he is a lot more popular than Congress.

I don't really understand such arbitrary criteria. The way we got Obama was through people looking past his lack of qualifications, closing him instead based on his skin color. Most people today would acknowledge it as a sad mistake. Dude, let me make clear. I hate political speeches.........in fact, I pretty much hate politics. And yet, back in 2006, I stood in line in the rain for an hour to get into a damn school gym where there were not nearly enough seats and then stood another 2 hours waiting for the then Senator Obama to arrive and speak. The entire gym smelled like wet cloth; it was hot and steaming, we were standing shoulder to shoulder...........it was miserable. And then he started speaking.........and for the next hour there was nary a complaint from anyone in that audience. That is the sign of greatness. I have never voted for a president that I really wanted...........its always been the lesser of two evils. Not with Obama. I am just glad I lived to experience his presidency. You have no clue what you have missed because you are so caught up in your silly ideology. I feel sorry for you.
