I haven't heard him say anything terribly nutty. He says things you and would surely disagree with but that doesn't make them nutty.

I find him to be exceptionally rational. He is a little bit extreme on religion, but I'm not generally put off by it as I believe people should be free to choose religion as they see fit. Obviously, many on the Left feel too much freedom can be a confining thing.
