Indeed it does. Boils down to learning, developing other skills, other awareness. Stay engaged to test, when things begin to change, a folk had better be aware, otherwise the compartments that have otherwise contributed to confidence, will let a folk down. leadership is always an unknown and a scarce commodity during transitions. Selection processes do not work to assumptions especially when the focus of entrenched leadership is only fully prepared for the past.
