I think the Republicans believe that by inviting Bibi to talk to them they will ingratiate themselves with American Jews. As usual, they are only listening to themselves and Jewish neocons like Bill Kristol. Most American Jews can't stand the guy or his politics. This is not only a diplomatic error and seriously stupid, it is a political mistake as well. They will only be applauded by people who would have applauded them anyway, and they will be disliked even more by nearly everyone else.
