You mean you won't visit your own daughter because of your prejudice against Arkies? Wow, talk about bigoted. Here's the thing ... when someone posts insults to me, I usually click on their name and look over what else they've been saying that day - if the heading of the post looks interesting, I click on it. That's my "stalking." Insult me and I'll pay attention to you. There's loads of liberals on SI I pay no attention to cause they never post to me. And if I see something I think I want to remember or that is amusing I stick it in a file. Usually it's something "out there" (like koan wishing his daughters had been lesbians - I have 9 posts by koan like that in a file) that makes me laugh. I've got a file on Chris and X too so I can remember some of the out there stuff they've posted. I thought I had a file like that on you, but I just checked and I don't. I do have a file on environmental subjects though and when a very vocal advocate of solar and "getting off fossil fuels" does something that really conflicts with that ... ie your biz property and that wood/oil/propane house ..... well that's worth noting just as the 1700 private jets to Davos was worth noting. See that helps remember stuff like that. Also I have a good memory and can often do a search on a thread and find something someone wrote on a subject. Now if you'll just make a few more bigoted remarks about Okies and Arkies (I can remember several of those like the one you just made), I'll start a file to record those, like "Rat's ethnic prejudices." Wait, I don't need to do that ... I already have one on "misc liberal hate" and you're in it: Message 25028521 Message 24798236 If you'll elaborate on your feelings about Arkies and Okies, I'll be glad to add those there.

Would you have said "too many Darkies?" if your daughter were involved with a black guy? OK, you've said your daughter is dating, living with, engaged to, married to, whatever ... an Arkie. Which iyo is as bad or worse than an Okie. Neither of which you like. I can't help but wonder if the guy was black, would you have said "I haven't been there in 3 1/2 or 4 years. Too many Darkies?" I'll bet you wouldn't have posted it, but seriously, we all know you'd have thought it. Cause if you don't like white Arkies and Okies, what's the chance you'd like a black guy? Heck, especially since a lot of blacks in CA have family roots in AR, LA, TX. Your future or present SIL could be a Darky Arkie. Why is it okay for liberals to talk about arkies, okies, rednecks, hicks, hillbillies, goobers .... etc in ways you'd never talk about liberal mascot groups? Doesn't this just show that you guys are as bigoted and prejudiced as .... I don't know, this guy? Liberal hypocrisy. It's an amazing thing.
