ObamaCare doesn't do anything to consolidate the insurance pools.
This isn't true, Ten. Prior to Obamacare, I was in my state's unaffordabley expensive 'high risk' pool. After, I'm in the pool of everyone on Obamacare, regardless of their risk.

So, you're just wrong.

Now who is just making shit up, again? When you get health insurance from a company, they get your health information and insure you on that basis. When you get it off the exchange, the pricing is based on your age and the company's estimate of the risk of the people they sign up in that state. In the former case, there is you. In the latter case it is the people they sign up in the state. In the insurance industry they call them a "pool". Feel from to call them whatever you want.
