Obama has successfully cast himself as the outsider. No matter what happens in the world, the economy etc. he's just a victim and it wasn't his fault it happened. His supporters and those in the dim witted media support that viewpoint. As long as he voices a modicum of caring and desire for something different, that's all that matters to the loony left and willingly duped accomplices. The fact that he lies repeatedly, doesn't matter any more. He lies because he has to in order to keep the crazy loony right at bay. You see, he's a victim of the radical right wing and those who don't support his utopian view. The Obama experience had demonstrated how easy an entire civilization can be manipulated into fascism. The only thing saving America is the Constitution and a bunch of red state voters. And both are hanging on by a fingernail.
