In Arkansas, one nursing and rehab administrator stated if you are in the facility you cannot RENT THE HOME, THE PROPERTY-----IT CAN REMAIN VACANT AND the patient is STILL THE OWNER----------"with the intention of returning to the home at some point" . I was appalled!!! A homeowner who needed help could not rent the home to someone in need of a place to live and use the rent to contribute to their stay at the nursing home or rehab center. " Yes, the house can not be rented' to provide income to be paid to the facility. ". That means that the house/home will be left vacant in Arkansas and possibly deteriorate. I was shocked! I said------Do you mean that the property would be locked up and not inhabited and DETERIORATE IN THE PROCESS? HER REPLY -----'YES, THE PROPERTY MUST NOT BE RENTED" I then replied--------"This is Obamacare?" Her reply, "Oh, we love Obamacare!" As the conversation deteriorated -----she commented that properties were closed up through out Arkansas. And, that she had one near her. The company she represented was for profit abiding. by Federal and State laws. There is something wrong with a system that allows homes to deteriorate as their owners who may be disabled or have no choice but to be in a nursing home. Yes this is Hillary and Bill country-------that allows both the Federal and State levels to not benefit from the rental income in Arkansas. Is it the same in other states? NOW TO THE BIG QUESTION-------THE PEOPLE , THE WORKERS, WHO PAID INTO MEDICARE/MEDICAID WERE PROMISED TO HAVE THEIR FUNDS 'IN TRUST' BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. HAVE WE EVER HAD A FULL REPORT ON THAT TRUST FUND--------DOES IT EXIST-----HOW ARE THE FUNDS SPENT------who manages it --------?. eom mj
