Wow, Intel or whoever you work for must be eating your increases. My out of pocket went up about 50% this year.
I haven't noticed a 50% increase in any year-over-year period.

But yeah, it is possible that my employer is covering the increases. How would I know for sure, though? Seems like deals for employee benefits like health care are made independently based on who I'm working for at the time and in what state I'm employed in.

It's not even a one-size-fits-all kind of thing. I have noticed subtle yet significant differences in health benefits from employer to employer, even if the insurer is the same company (Blue Cross, Kaiser, Cigna, etc.).
