What a week! But at last it is over.

I read in the Denver Post that the Columbia AirLife helicopter program is back in business, flying rescue missions.

While the immediate impact on Air Methods' stock price is not pretty-a close of $2.75, we should not see any lasting significant ill effects. Air Methods is moving forward on its business plan.

My estimate for earnings the quarter that ends 12/31 remains at 10 cents. The Red Chip Review publishes an update this month and I suspect they will also stick with a 10 cent number.

So, if 10 cents times 4 gives AIRM a 40 cents annual rate in earnings, then a price of $2.75 translates to a multiple of 6.8 times. Anyone care to argue that the company may be a touch undervalued in here?

We shall see if they come in with that earnings number, but even at 7 cents, we are trading at 10 times.

I hope that all of you who follow this board have a pleasant and safe holiday season. Maybe we will see some cheer next week.
