An article from the past. In an attempt to clean up my desk yesterday I ran across an old news article about UMSI. I believe it is from the Clearwater St. Pete Times, dated 2-2-97. The firms executives are featured on the page, peering through a piece of the company's diagnostic imaging system prototype. Impressive article, however I do have problems with the earnings forcast. As quoted, " Renaissance Corp Finance in New York wrote a bullish report saying the co. will earn 35 cents per share in fiscal 97. For 98, the target is 42 cents per share." What the hell happened???? Another quote: "Still, analyst MarcKlee of American Fund Advisers said he is confident in the management team and the product line. Much hinges on how the company fares in the Far East. If those deals prove fruitful, he sees a four-to-six-month share price target of $4-$6 and a one-year target of $10." So what do you think? Approx. 1 1/2 week before the new year. Ching, Ching I'm going to hurry up and buy a ton more of this $10 stock, before the ball drops, (or whatever it does now).
