Someone bought a ton of DEC 25 calls yesterday....around 9,000 contracts.

biz.yahoo.com

When option market makers sell calls they buy stock to hedge their positions....so based on this approximately 900,000 shares had to be bought yesterday to cover the dec 25 calls.

Someone might know something and expects to see the stock above $25 by friday. Or some sort of manipulation is going on.

AICE update...

Pricing on 16 meg popular devices remain at the low to mid
2.00 range. Requirements on 16 meg synchronous devices
have increased over the last week. There are no extreme
changes in the Intel CPU market.

Patrick,

Based on your past experience, would the fact that there are roughly twice as many calls as puts at 25 and 27.5 ensure that MU will end options expiration at the higher number?
