Too much of a Lebanese mindset in Sao Paulo. We can compare with the Central European mindset of Curitiba.

These are the Human Natures whose actions percolate what capitalism turn to.

Sao Paulo was fiancned with coffee money.

England Industrial Revolution and US hyper growth in the 19th century imported most coffee and provided the capital to develop the state and the city. Both named Sao Paulo.

The state became a magnet for the Levant peoples -future predator capitalists, running away from the Ottoman empire Turks,

Predator is manage yourself into a corner as exhaustion of the hydric resources show.

There is a city - Jundiai- 60km from S. Paulo - that does not know what is this water problem.

As reporter went there and asked why. The technical people informed that they had planned hydric resources according to the growth of Industry, commerce and residences and kept investing.

The predator capitalist does not seek the long term benefit. He maximize the short term.

Thus lack of water. Twenty years ago the water lines were bursting. (Sao Paulo built by coffee exports money has an old infrastructure) No major plan to modernize.

A big portion of the water is lost. To a point that the technical people of S. Paulo lowers pressure to save water. Why? Lower pressure wastes less water! Looks like Nigeria...

If you asphalt and concrete all the surfaces, the water runs off. Discharge to the river and is gone. They concreted the whole city and there is no water percolating through the soil.

Summer they have big and bigger floods for the past 41 years.

But they don’t learn.

But you know as dvdw and THE ANT say I am wrong...
