The true fiscal solution was not to make wild-assed commitments you can't keep in the first place.

The idea that we're going to "solve" the problem with tax increases now is just stupid. Totally impractical, and a hell of a lot less practical today than it was in 2008 before this idiotic law was passed.

You people just think you can raise taxes without bound. You can't.
