Wow!

No kidding. The talk shows up there will have enough fodder to last until spring training.

I thought both coaches screwed up in the last minute. I thought Belichik should have called
a timeout to save whatever clock there was after the (nonscored) touchdown to drive for
a field goal attempt to tie the game.

Shows you what I know. Just like the spelling of Wazzu. Thanks for that. I won't make that
mistake again.

Go spend a few minutes with my buddy, Johnny Walker, and he'll help take your mind
off the finish.

Regards,
Blue

What struck me about the game, spitsong, was I thought Pete was gambling his career on the play call with 6 seconds left in the first half -- so many things could have gone wrong... I'd wager 99.99% of head coaches would have kicked the FG there... so he was a hero on that call... then the last offensive play call of his for the game just seemed so bizarre -- seemed like NE had only been stopping Lynch with no gain or lost yards maybe 1 out of 3 or 4 times he ran the ball... even though everyone in the stadium thought they'd have Lynch pound it in, seems like that would still have worked (with maybe having the option to let Wilson run it in) -- and those two timeouts he wasted? Pete was both the best and worst coach in the same game...

Congrats to NE fans -- I know how tough the last 10-11 seasons must have been after those 3 quick championships (3 of 4 between 2001-2004) and this certainly adds to the Brady side of the "Manning or Brady" for their generations best QBs discussion.
