Obamacare boosts likelihood of audit: H&R Block CEO

By Nicole Goodkind 52 minutes ago

It's officially busy season for auditors, and this year, things will be even busier than usual. The introduction of the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare, has brought one of the largest changes to the tax code in nearly 20 years. That means more complicated taxes for many Americans. For the first time, those who do not have health insurance will either have to pay penalties or file for an exemption.

The numbers are still vague, but the government estimates that 3 to 6 million Americans will be required to pay an insurance-related penalty and another 2 to 25 million will be eligible to file for an exemption against that penalty. For many households, the penalty will clock in at around 1% of income and will be due with tax filings by April 15th.

The 7 million Americans who purchased health care through an exchange will receive an advanced tax credit which needs to be reconciled against annual income. "People make the mistake of thinking it's a subsidy," H&R Block ( HRB) CEO William Cobb explains. "It's actually an advanced credit that needs to be reconciled. If you made more money or you owe money, it will actually be a [deduction] to your refund."

While it's still very early in tax season, Cobb predicts that these new complicated tax procedures will drive more business into the offices of accountants. Those who have never had to pay taxes before and receive Obamacare will now have to file, he points out.

As years progress, Cobb believes that Obamacare will continue to complicate the tax system. "It's an annual decision," he says. This year he sees many choosing to pay the penalty even if they might qualify for an exemption but "next year the penalties ratchet up. They go from 1 to 2% of adjustable gross income, and the [$95] flat-rate penalty triples." More people will be signed up for exchanges by the end of 2015 as well; government estimates are at around 10 million.

Cobb warns that the change in taxes due to Obamacare will likely increase the number of successful audits the IRS completes. "I try to tell everyone that this is an easy one for the IRS to catch," warns Cobb. "It's 'Did you have insurance or didn't you?' They'll know, and it's just one or two forms."

The IRS currently audits 1-in-104 people per year. Cobb believes that number will most certainly increase.

Was Chris Kyle’s killer a converted Muslim?
..........................................................................................................................
Allen B. West, Steadfast and Loyal ^ | 2nd Feb., 2015 | Michele Hickford, Editor-in-Chief

The “conventional wisdom” says former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle was tragically shot and killed by a former soldier suffering from PTSD.

But perhaps there’s another version of the story no one wants to talk about. What if Routh had been converted to militant Islam in Iraq and sought Kyle out as retribution?

There are some disturbing facts about Routh you most likely will have never read.

According to The Warfighter Foundation, it is highly unlikely Routh suffered from PTSD because he never served in battle.

“Eddie Routh served one tour in Iraq in 2007, at Balad Air Base (the 2nd largest U.S. installation in Iraq), with no significant events. No combat experience. Let me say that again, he NEVER SAW COMBAT or any aspect of traumatic events associated with a combat deployment (i.e. incoming mortar or rocket fire). He never left the base, EVER.”

The Warfighter Foundation is a non-profit organization that used the Freedom of Information act to learn more about Routh’s history.

“[Routh] held a non-combat arms occupation of 2111 (Small Arms Repairer/ Technician or more commonly referred to as an Armorer),” the group reported. “Balad Air Base had a Pizza Hut, 24 hour Burger King, Subway, Popeye’s, Baskin Robbins, movie theater, and even a miniature golf course. It even had a strictly enforced 10 mile per hour speed limit!”

While Routh never served in battle, he did work as a prison guard overseeing Muslim terrorists at Bilad Airbase. Walid Shoebat posits that Routh could have interacted with the inmates and perhaps converted to Islam.

While there is no proof of any conversion, Shoebat says “During a phone call with his father, Routh expressed sympathy for the detainees and discontent over how the US was conducting the war as well as his reluctance to engage in combat” and “While working as a guard at Balad Air Base, Routh laments his [Muslim] prisoners’ poor living conditions.”

Shoebat says, “It is a known fact that Routh’s family contacted Kyle about their son’s diminishing mental health. Routh was admitted to inpatient psychiatric treatment prior to the events at Rough Creek Ranch, according to a report from the Daily Mail.”

But being a nut is different than suffering from PTSD.

Shoebat says, “Routh had been taken to a mental hospital twice in the past five months and told authorities that he was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, police records show.”

However, just saying you have PTSD is also different than actually being diagnosed. While Routh may indeed suffered mental problems, PTSD may not have been one of them.

Nonetheless, the media will continue to focus on PTSD, which further casts doubt on our veterans and weakens our resolve for battle.

But the last thing the media would ever consider is that Routh could have been a convert to Islam. It’s an interesting and discomfiting theory.

And then there’s the matter of his beard with trimmed moustache. Of course we can’t engage in profiling, but…

0dumbo wanted Kyle dead, just like the nearly 20 SEALs placed aboard one helicopter and sent to their deaths in Aug 2011. That was no accident either.

The same inner circle who released 5 Yemeni terrorists from Guantanamo ONE WEEK AFTER YEMENI-TRAINED TERRORISTS ATTACKED PARIS.

We are tired of losing our heroes to a Muslim leader who is trying to destroy this country.

It’s been my theory that Kyles murder was a hit.

If anyone is interested click the following link and you’ll find a lot
about Chris Kyle going all the way back to his funeral back in 2013.

Any number of SpecOps, returned SEALs, including a commander shot in the back of the head in his own car, and long gun/sharpshooter/weapons experts have died or been murdered in the last 6 years. Real marksmen, the lot of them.

Here are two:

Chris Kyle told Taya that he met a woman outside a store and she had asked him if he could help her son. Someone correct me if I'm wrong about this. Anyway, has anyone checked with Routh's mom to see if that was HER outside the store who asked Chris if he could help her son? Do we know for sure it was HER who spoke to Chris, or someone else seeking to set him up for his murder? The firing range Kyle and his buddy (Littlefield) were killed at was EMPTY that day. How convenient no one else was there to see anything and that the only witness other than Routh and Kyle was murdered as well. Is Routh a patsy or the fall guy for an assassination by Team Zero? So many questions.. I get the same funny feeling about Kyle's murder that I had with Breitbart, Michael Hastings, Alex Okrent, AND EVEN JOAN RIVERS.. Hmmmm..
