You are incorrect in both the premise of your question and in your assuming that,scientists are correct. First of all Global Warming is likely not happening and secondly if it is slowly warming it has nothing to due with CO2.

Fine. We do know CO2 is causing acidification of the oceans and it can be toxic to humans esp to children at certain concentrations. And there is strong belief that as a greenhouse gas, its heating up the atmosphere. Reducing its concentrations in the air would benefit the environment and people. So why do you oppose doing that?
