The attacker was carrying two knives. He was arrested thanks to the intervention of two tram workers who happened to be passing, and another man, according to the mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi. .....so presumably armed soldiers are stabbed multiple times and it takes 2 passer buys to effect an arrest. I wonder if the French yell BANG! when they feign firing their unloaded weapons???...............personally, I would have blown his brains out as soon as I saw the knife.
