Do you think niacin was causing missing heartbeats?

I'm about as sure as one can be about such things.

At the time, maybe five or so years ago, I was typically checking my pulse during exercise, not every time but off and on. When I suddenly discovered that I was missing beats I got scared. It took me a while but my research finally turned up a piece that listed that as a side effect of niacin supplementation. I stopped the niacin and the problem disappeared within a few days, never to return. The variable was pretty well isolated, I think, so the likelihood of anything other than stopping the niacin fixing the problem is slim to none.

Stopping the niacin is an easy thing to try.

I've taken fish oil continuously for years and years including while I was taking the niacin. Never had a problem with fish oil.
