I have previously stated, and I can't prove it but I do believe it, that the election of Obama exacerbated the collapse. Anyone who understands what actually happened recognizes that the problem, initially, was that people couldn't pay their bills. But it soon became a crisis of confidence which was feeding the wild swings of the derivative markets.

So since this all happened many months before Obama came to office, your theory is that the mere prospect of Obama taking the WH caused people to lose confidence and collapsed the entire economy...then when he did take office his policies made unemployment and the economy worse, even before he took office and for years to come.

Any notion of how crazy that sounds?
