<Lucky looks for over bought stocks to short, and investors like myself look for undervalued stocks to go long on. The shorts in ABTX are no more than short term plays that soon cover and become buys. The real problem is long positions bailing for profits.> Thanks Archie for educating me on this.So it is bailing longs that are problematic.I am new to investing and every new subtlety of how the market works that I learn the better. I agree with what you are saying as a long time bull I plan on riding this one out for a long time. But I also traded this one short at 15.25 and cover today at 13.75. I just felt that in this climate we were somewhat overbought so I traded for a quick profit while holding onto my long position in a different account. My predition is a stock price of 18 by January and 35 by June :) Alex G.

Lucky mentioned the sell-in-January effect of people who want to slide their profits into the next tax year. I reckon there may be an additional "jeopardy period" in 15 months or so, when a sale by a US investor will be considered capital gains. I suppose, then, that buying into a stock as a long-term buyer, it's wise to check on such things as well as the fundamentals. Amazing what I am learning by being a TM here. JSb. (long on ABTX with a huge, for me, position, partially hedged).
