When my wireless mouse fails the first thing I try is replacing the battery in the mouse. So far that has always worked for me.

Suma, getting a new mouse is a good idea. Might as well get a wired one, too, for emergencies.
Switching to a MAC might be stressful because of the learning curve. But it would mean your sister could help you. Those 8 years make a big difference.

You're entitled to be late for a doctor's appointment. Doctors often make patients wait, too.

Problems are nature's way to keep us active and alert.
