He had a ranch for kids with cancer as well.
Yeah, he just shut it down this year because he couldn't breathe at the altitude......had it for 17 years and you talk about a scam....wow, don't know how he got away with it. He took in about 100-110 kids a summer.....but got, according to him about 37 million in donations to run it....He bought about 3000 acres and then got people, mostly celebs and radio/TV types to buy an acre for 10K each.....sold everything you can think off, records, books, got most supplies and clothes for the kids donated, ran charity golf tournament, .......all proceeds to the ranch and all tax exempt..... So if he took in a total of 2000 kids, he got about 20,000 for each of them per summer... A Wall St Journal reporter tried to investigate him, but he got Elliot Spitzer, NY AG at the time to squash it....
