WR, I don't think you get it. Thomas Edison was a wonderful inventor for his time, but he isn't all-knowing.

That's why his incandescent light bulb, which is an iconic invention for its time, is now being banned in places like the People's Republic of California. People have come up with better, more efficient solutions for electric-powered lighting.

People have also discovered better, more efficient solutions for energy than solar, wind, and tide. Ever hear of E=mc2?

Our right wingnut's forefathers no doubt kept using candles and whale oil lamps when incandescent lighting was introduced. It was the conservative thing to do!
