I got it installed in another USB port and it read on the computer that it had been successfully installed but it did not work the arrow so I could not navigate the computer. Then I tried my mouse for the HP. Nothing... I think that I would have to install the software.

Then I put the little device back in the other USB port on the left and like yesterday, if I held my hand on it real hard and pushed in hard it worked.

I intend to go to Walmart today. Microsoft mouse or Logitech ? Remember I hardly used the mouse that is not working as all I ever did with the Toshiba computer was use it to erase e mails and run the Virus updates and MSN updates.... etc. I never used it so this mouse must have been ill for a long time....

Thanks again guys for advice and I do everything you all way. Individually or as a group.
