Regarding OPCO's role. You are right, they do not officially follow it in that they don't write reports or have it in their published universe, nor are they as a firm recommending the stock. They have a team of 4 or 5 environmental analysts and that team publishes a daily one page piece called Daily Trash Talk. They have mentioned PESI several times. We could say they monitor it. I have talked to the analyst that knows PESI best. He likes it but admits it is too small for them to write up. One important point. I asked him about the not-so-great balance sheet. He said a very significant hidden asset is their mixed-waste permit. If I remember correctly, he said it was the only one.
Let's not get too carried away with the OPCO situation, but what a great sponsor if they ever did pick it up officially.
