NSM is getting more fab resource every month without paying one cent. If it is not great for National-Sem, then, what is it?

It depends on the capabilities of the foundries and the prices NSM can obtain. I think only super efficient producers of CPUs will be profitable in 1998. There will be a glut of CPUs like we have never seen before.

MXi will do ok in this environment, but MX (or Cayenne based MX replacement) will only do well if it matches performace of the top of the line Intel processors (300 MHz and up).
