And you completely ignored the rest of my post. A coal plant does not exist in isolation. You have to mne it. These days, that is usually a strip mine. Have you ever seen a strip mine? That land is pretty much useless after that. And then the fly ash has to be disposed of. It is pretty nasty stuff, both chemically and physically. So more land that is damaged for a very long time.
