Suma, the next step: here are instructions how to update Windows 7 which you have on your Toshiba windows.microsoft.com

note the instructions are from MS!

Windows is the most important program and needs to be up-to-date before other problems are addressed.

please tell us how the update is going. Some Windows updates take a long time but you don't need to stand by, just check progress occasionally.
