So we don't know why God permits evil.......At the very least he is being honest here, we have had quite enough men arbitrating what these imaginary deities think, want or don't want. The rest of Platinga's sophistry is a nice children's story though he is correct that all life is suffering. Especially when we look at the common plight of those more hapless living 2 centuries ago let alone 2500yrs eking out meager desperate existences.

* If sin, death & suffering are your obsession, the Buddha covered this territory quite well five centuries before this country rabbi was born, Buddhism is a worldview of liberation from pain and suffering. Buddha's central teaching, the Four Noble Truths, is about pain and suffering. The Dalai Lama explains the Four Noble truths this way, “As most of you might know, these Four Truths are the truth of suffering, the truth of the origin of suffering, the truth of the cessation of suffering, and the truth of the path leading to this cessation.

and the evils that afflict our world, and to confer on us a life more glorious than we can imagine.

We are already living in a world more glorious than 'we or He' could ever imagine & some of us do see the glory, what is your problem now? Perhaps you need to get out more, build portable shelters for the homeless etc? That would be useful for alleviating some human suffering.
