Of course, what Froese would have said if he was not being deliberately malicious and dishonest is that Communists tried to destroy the religious ideologies that were a threat to their maintenance of power. It is a very rare atheist who would dream of being an apologist for Communism-especially not the brutal self-serving Fascist Communism practiced by Stalin. This unceasing demonization of upright atheist free thinkers simply highlights the moral emptiness of religion today. Atheists are not your enemy. Reality is. Absurd superstitions and myths become more risible as scientific and historical facts erase the foolish lies and hobgoblins that satisfied the intellects of primitive bronze-age tribesmen.
