Perhaps I misunderstood you. I thought you were saying it was only one year in so the problems we know are there don't matter. I didn't understand why you would take that position.

Lack of insurance has seldom meant lack of care for anyone in this country. That did happen on occasion, but rarely and could have been efficiently dealt with by much less invasive, disruptive legislation. One of the greatest attributes of the United States is that any person who needed medical care could get it. And if they got it it was likely to be the best available anywhere in the world. With few exceptions.

Unfortunately, in post-ACA America that simply isn't the way it is anymore. Tragically.
