I was completely in cash at the 10/28/97 turn. But this was due to going on a cruise rather than being psyhic. Yes the MACD works well on indices and so does Dahl primary trend. Sure I keep charts on DJ-30, S&P500, Russell 2000, and nasadq; I try not to let an index decide if I buy or sell a stock. The stock's going up or down is the important thing. Should the average person with a day-job get out on the basis of index sell or buy signals -- YES. Cash can feel good.
