It was a brilliant strategy for Sanger and all the other great workers for human rights to try to make inroads against the KKK's Christian opposition to any societal assistance in Black communities. Obviously, these Fundamentalist, Racist, KKK Christians were totally opposed to birth control, reproductive choice, or any other improvements in the conditions of women, because this went against the subjugation of women. Women were to have no say in how many children they had. And then, as now, the vast majority of unwanted pregnancies took place in poor minority communities. These communities were where the clinics were needed--communities where unwanted, unplanned children were starving and dying because mothers were completely unequal to the demands of their nourishment and survival.

At great risk to her own safety, Sanger met with these Christian White Supremacists and convinced them (at least in part) that birth control was not contrary to their own racist goals of the eradication of the Negro population! She utilised their self-serving hatred to get their "permission" to establish reproductive choice clinics beginning in the borough of Brooklyn. Can you imagine how long one of her clinics would have lasted if she had not first molded their retarded, superstitious, infantile little noggins!! "Look, she said. You women hate Negros. Let me establish clinics to help them with contraception and reproductive choice. The Black population will drop. Your presence will increase!"

Einstein was a great supporter of Sanger, btw. But most great people were. It was only the bigots (who thought "God" wanted women to be subjugated), who were threatened by health care for poor black families. A lot of sick people still are against the emancipation of women and reproductive choice. They invent ugly misrepresentations against their "enemy", Margaret Sanger and post their ugly lies and bigotry in hundreds of thousands of "Bigot Bits" on the internet. Apparently, they don't understand that the fight is over and THEY LOST! That one compassionate, caring, loving Nurse brought them to their knees!!
