There is a really big difference between you or Apple making the decision to invest money in solar, versus you and Apple riding into such a decision on the backs of taxpayers.

I support what Apple is doing because they made the decision. If they get one nickel of taxpayer money for doing it it is wrong for them to do it.

The problem with solar isn't that anyone hates solar. The problem is that most taxpayers do not want their kids to be forced to pay for YOUR solar panels.

I'm really not understanding the claim of 'inefficiency' being made about solar power. Once the initial cost of the installation is amortized, their is ZERO fuel cost and the most minimal of maintenance. It seems to me the efficiency after amortization is 100%, and all other technologies save other renewables like wind far far short of it.

That's not even considering the environmental costs.

Being against renewable energy isn't fiscally conservative at all.
