Brilliant Resources (BLT-V) Feb 26, '15 has received, from the government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, a payment of approximately $9.47-million (U.S.) in respect of amounts owed to the company under the terms of the agreement reached with the government, pursuant to which the company has agreed to relinquish all its rights and interests under the exploration services agreement with the government.As disclosed on Jan. 22, 2015, under the terms of the agreement reached between Ivory and the government, the government agreed to pay Ivory $31.5-million (U.S.) in cash in three instalments: $11.5-million (U.S.) payable on Jan. 29, 2015; $10-million (U.S.) payable on Feb. 28, 2015; and $10-million (U.S.) payable on March 30, 2015. The company has now received in total approximately $20.11-million (U.S.), and is therefore owed approximately $1.39-million (U.S.) in connection with the second instalment payment. The company will continue to diligently pursue the collection of all funds owed to it under the terms of the agreement.
