The last time I posted on CDO it was an innocent remark and I took **** about it from a certain party. It was a response to an e-mail and it looked like I was saying something sensitive---Me, I never did, never will, never want to know anything I should not know about any company.

Having said that, looks just like a normal anti-takeover plan to me. Up until the 90s, CDO seemed like a company one could not just "take-over". My feeling on this stems from my belief that the company was a sales driven outfit loyal to KP who paid well and if the company got taken over they would have pulled up stakes and gone somewhere else.

Now, there is some serious equity involved in my opinion. Guys like me guess at it, guys like Sid can quantify it (There is no slight to Sid here...he can grasp it faster than I, for me it's purely intuitive that it's there). So I think it's just a normal 'fencing' manuever.

Philly to Chicago. I have a brother who loves both towns.

I kinda like 'em both too. As for egos, I think this is a wonderful place to let a controlled ego wander, don't you? Ego traps us too much while trading. Better to let it out here than there.

Sorry to be such a philosophical pain in the neck. I got $100 on the Jets....don't trust the Jints this weekend....but I'd like to see 'em both win so I might make it to a playoff game and I'd like Scott to give me a ton of points in Cheesehead Country.

Merry Christmas.

EDIT...I knew I'd never get to Gene's URLs, dammit
