Re: there is a bridge about 3 miles to the South of me that I have for sale.

Are you forgetting Rockhead? You had to sell that bridge to make up for the losses you took on Intel and Western Digital.

RE: Rocky's Bargain Drive.

>> Or better yet, you could call it a loss, and get a much better product. Take Syquest SparQ, for example. For a mere $199, you get the drive, plus 1 Gigabyte (as apposed to the measly 100MB offered by Zip) of powerful storage. <<

>> Oh...if by some chance you do want to buy SparQ discs individually, the steep price of $39 per disc will be charged. <<

Do you even realize what kind of useless drivel you're spouting?

He said that it fit on a single Zip disk. If that's the case, why would he want to pay twice the price to get a SparQ drive and more than twice the price to get a SparQ disk?

Would you buy a case of paper to print your resume if the cost per sheet was 10% of the price of what you would pay for a single sheet? [Don't answer that...we don't want people calling you an idiot.]

<If you can't see the great advantage in using SparQ over Zip, then there is a bridge about 3 miles to the South of me that I have for sale.>

I use ZIP to transfer and exchange files/programs/data with friends, co-workers, vendors, and relatives. If you can't see the HUGE DISADVANTAGE of switching from ZIP to SparQ, then there is a gap about 3 miles between your ears. I'll give you a hint, there are about 11 million reasons to keep using ZIPs.

I am curious, Rocky. How do you get your items printed at the copy shops? They take Zips, Jaz's, CD's, and Floppies. If the pictures of your newsletters, brochures, etc are 2-10 Megs, how do you get your Sparq disks to fit into one of those slots? Do you use a hammer? Do you grease them to make them fit?
Since you are an expert, I figure you know how to do this.

(Channel Check) Alpha Graphics have these 4 storage devices hooked up to their copiers. They can have your products printed all over the country or world.

*** Note: They even have a stack of zips available for individual sale. This reminds me of 3.5" disks 7-10 years ago. They had a stack of them in the same exact spot. Hmmm, a pattern?
