Having personally designed and built out a number PV systems over the last thirty plus years it's incredible how the costs have dropped. I built my last house in 07 price per watt was ~$10...now I can buy 220W panels for < $1/W...even at the price back then I was considering a 6KW array...also back then the TVA was running amazing deals by which they would buy solar power at 1.5times what they sold power for. A grid system was really attractive. Now I am not sure what they do...and I am looking to move, so I am not in the market. But my next house...for sure will have PV system on it. Al
